  • Introduction

Initiative means taking action on your own, without someone telling you to do it, and it demonstrates that you can be taken seriously because you have the drive to succeed. Initiative is required if you want to make a good impression on other people and you want to be seen as someone who will take action.  Using your strengths is one great way to take initiative. By practicing our strengths, we improve at them. Think of one of your strengths, how can you practice this strength at school?
