Introduction
Loyalty means that you are devoted to your country, community, team, and your seniors, peers, and subordinates. You owe unwavering loyalty up and down the chain of command, to leaders, subordinates, and peers.
- How does loyalty impact you?
- How does loyalty impact others?
- How might loyalty support your future?
-
Critical Thinking
Consider the following situation on your own: You meet some new friends at your volunteer job, and they don’t know your friends from school. Your friends from school say your new friends are weird and they don’t like them.
What do you do? Try to think of a few different things you could do (positive, negative, and neutral). What might the results of your actions be?
-
Collaboration
For a small group, each student presents their ideas to the whole class. Provide opportunity for positive feedback from peers or support if they are struggling to think of ideas.
For a larger group, divide students into small groups and have students present their ideas to the small group. Provide opportunity for positive feedback from peers or support if they are struggling to think of ideas.
